No webpages are complete without a description of who wrote them, so here goes.

I am 36 years of age, my interests include photography, psychology and everything to do with computers.

My home is Gibraltar, a British colony in the Iberian peninsula. Here, you'll find a superb image gallery and 360° panoramic views of this beautiful Rock. Please support us against an anglo-spanish sovereignty deal by clicking here.

My jobs have always been computer related.

As to my character, my MBTI type is INTJ. This is an accurate personality test that I'd recommend everyone to take.

Regarding the Shroud of Turin, my guess is that it's some kind of primitive photograph. Unfortunately, there are too many people interested in perpetuating the myth, and the truth about the cloth may never be known.

After I was introduced to the works of Swami Vivekananda (1862-1902), I found him to be a genius. What impressed me the most was that he wasn't preaching about any gods, but about the true nature of ourselves and reality. Since then, I have familiarized myself with his philosophy (Advaita) and modern science which, incredibly, is leading towards a similar worldview.

I think that a basic knowledge of our minds and the nature of reality are fundamental, both for our own happiness, and the peaceful evolution of mankind. The essays below explore the function of the brain, our personality, and our true motivating force. (Besides the crap on autism, I'm pretty sure the rest is more or less ok.)

Fundamental Nature of the MBTI This essay explores connections between our concept of reality and personality. A must to read if you are familiar with the MBTI.

Brain Hemisphere Specialization The functions of the two hemispheres are explored. How they contribute to our awareness and understanding. The possible cause of autism and anosognosia is also discussed. Examines parallels between psychology and physiology.

Conclusions Further ideas about our motivation drive, personality and fear.
